Saturday 29th June kicks off with some
JACKPOT CUTTING @ the Mitchell RSL Complex. From 10.30 am onward you can watch horse and rider do their best to handle cattle in the western-style equestrian event. Free entry!!!
THE MIGHTY BLACK WHITE AND BLACK
Love a bit of FOOTBALL ACTION? This SATURDAY 29th June the Mitchell Magpies will take on St George at the Mitchell RSL and Combined Sports Complex. Both A Grade and Reserve grade had impressive wins last weekend against the Red Bulls and are hoping to continue their winning streak. MITCHELL IN JULY
July is buzzing in Mitchell with markets, morning teas, pamper mornings and warm winter meals.
Booringa Action Group is very pleased to present HUMP DAY ROAST NIGHT. Every Wednesday night from 5.30-8.00pm
you can head down to the Great Artesian Spa for a hot roast meat and veg dinner. BYO alcohol, non alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. $15 per head for the adults and children's meals for $10.
Ladies are invited to attend 'WOMEN OF WORTH" morning of pampering and morning tea. Brought to us by StormCo (Adventure in Service) this lovely event will be held at the Mitchell Shire Hall on Thursday 4th July, 2019 from 10am - 12pm. Why not make the most of the morning and have a relaxing dip in the Great Artesian Spa as well.
We will also be hosting the CWA MARKET DAY on Saturday 6th July. Bring the family down to find a bargain and enjoy morning tea and barbecue lunch...commencing at 8am, 87 Cambridge Street, Mitchell, QCWA Hall.

Our All Saints Anglican parishioners are treating us in July!
Morning Prayer sessions are happening on Sunday 2nd and 9th at 8.30 am, all welcome to attend.
For those who love a CAMPFIRE OVEN DINNER you can head to the Major Mitchell Caravan Park, Saturday 20th July, 6pm and enjoy a hearty meal while listening to the tunes of Toowoomba band "Idee Fixe". Top off your weekend with Confirmation and Eucharist with Guest Bishop Cam Venables, Sunday 21st July.
Last but not least we have the MITCHELL ON MARANOA ART GALLERY which showcases artworks from artists near and far. Up until July 13 you can view the Kenniff Country Quilters masterpieces. Monday - Friday 9-5 and Saturdays 9-12. 33 Cambridge Street Mitchell.
